Shoe of the Week #5

My shoe of the week is 'Esther' by Siren.

I have to admit, this shoe was an impulse purchase. I was browsing the sale shoes when I stumbled upon this style. This style definitely caught my attention but it was the sale price that sold me. $49.95 for a pair of suede platform high heels... Who could say no?

Aside from the price, I like the colour of these shoes. They are a great colour for spring and summer. They look great with neutral outfits as a colour accent or as a contrast with other spring colours.

The heel of the shoe is also very different. I own many chunky heeled shoes, but this is my first square based heel. The height of the heel is great. For me, the higher the better! The platform makes the style more comfortable to wear for longer periods of time.

The ankle strap is also very feminine, flirty and fun to wear! This style would be the perfect heel to wear for a Sunday afternoon with the girls!

I am definitely glad I bought this style. I practically saved money buying them!! :P

Shoe of the Week #4

My shoe of the week is 'Miss Symphony' by Peeptoe

After months of seeing metal cap shoes spread over the magazines and gracing the red carpets, I decided to find out what the major hype was, over this particular style.

Once I tried these on, I could understand why they are fast becoming popular. They are extremely unique. The metal cap is a great contrast against the white leather and makes the style more glamorous and enticing.

This style is also versatile as it can be worn casually with jeans or shorts but can also be worn for a more formal occasion (as seen on the red carpet by the celebrities).

The 10cm stiletto heel is very comfortable, which means I can wear them all day at work without getting sore feet. The leather is also very soft, which adds to the comfort!

The only problem with buying white shoes, is they do get dirty, so I have to clean them more often!

Shoe of the Week #3

Tony Bianco is one of my favourite shoe designers in Australia. Mainly because the shoes are comfortable, great quality and affordable. I own more Tony Bianco shoes then any other designers.

My shoe of the week is 'Milly' by Tony Bianco.

I bought these shoes while on a holiday in Melbourne. The first thing that caught my attention, was the colour. The blue is bright and vibrant and perfect for summer. It's also great for adding a splash of colour during winter.

Coloured shoes are a great addition to any shoe collection, as they brighten up your wardrobe. They are also great for personalising your outfit. I normally wear this style as a colour accent with my neutral outfits.

I also love the heel on this shoe. The platform takes away some of the height, while still maintaining the illusion of a high heel. This combination makes the style more comfortable and easier to walk in.

The ankle strap is very feminine and the style looks great with dresses and skirts during summer or trousers and jeans during winter.

I enjoy wearing this style when I need a bit of brightness in my day.

Shoe of the Week #2

My shoe of the week is 'Carine' by SABA.

Neutral shoes are extremely versatile, this is why I bought these shoes. I was a late bloomer to discovering SABA clothes and accessories but when I stumbled upon these shoes on the SABA website, I knew I had to try them on.

The only problem is, it took me a bit of time before I decided I actually wanted them and when I did, they were sold out online and in my nearest store. It took me a while, but I finally tracked down a pair of these shoes in my size.

When I tried these shoes on, I instantly knew I had to have them. I know, I say this with all my shoes, but it's obvious that I am obsessed with all things shoes!

The 10cm heel makes it comfortable to wear all day, everyday and the peep toe style is great for summer.

The leather is extremely supple and the padding in the insole is very soft, making them comfortable. The neutral grey is perfect for summer and the black trimming gives the style a dramatic edge.

This style is versatile and goes well with dresses, skirts, pants and jeans.

The ankle strap on this shoe is very feminine and it is a great style to wear to work, casually and to dress up any outfit.

I'm definitely glad I bought these shoes!
