We spent 6-7 hours in the car, when we finally arrived into the beautiful city.

We enjoyed a night in to awake the next morning for sightseeing. We walked around the city centre, exploring landmarks and even doing a spot of shopping at Galerie Lafayette!
If you want a view of the city, you should definitely travel up the 6 levels at Galeries Lafayette to see everything Toulouse has to offer!
We were lucky to have our own tour guide in Toulouse.
We took a stroll through the city centre, tried a few different bars, we went to the Toulouse dam, walked through an art gallery, enjoyed an enormous pizza next to the river and tried the Toulouse specialty, candied violets.
We also went on the Toulouse ferris wheel. It was amazing! Once I got over my fear of heights, I got to see Toulouse from the top of the wheel. We were lucky to enjoy the sunset while on the wheel so it was even more magical!
Toulouse is a big city to explore and we only just got to see the surface. It is definitely another place to return and explore!
