Embace your inner feline with the hottest trend of the season…

Leopard print.

Leopard print is nothing new. It is one of those trends that comes back every season more fierce and more fabulous then the season before.

Leopard print is a trend that can be worn all year round and still be just as fabulous anytime of the year.

To me, I see leopard print as a neutral tone, which means it can be worn with anything and everything.

But to make it easier for you, I have compiled a list of styling tips for wearing leopard print.

1. The first most important thing to remember is, treat leopard print as a neutral. It is a print that looks fabulous with everything, anytime of the year. The L.B.D, denim and navy are fabulous when paired with leopard print items.

2. If you are hesitant to start wearing leopard print, start small. Adding a leopard print accessory is the easiest way to incorporate the print into your wardrobe. And the quickest way to bring your outfit into the current season! My favourite leopard print accessory is definitely leopard print high heels!

3. Don't overdo it! Leopard print looks more elegant and chic when it's the focal point of an outfit. Remember to complement the leopard print with neutral accents.

4. Print clashing is popular. Again, don't overdo it. By adding a few other prints to your outfit, it will make it more unique and make more of a statement. Subtle florals, stripes and leopard work really well together.

5. Leopard print looks fabulous with pops of colour. Add a coloured scarf or a colourful pair of shoes with a leopard print dress for a statement outfit. My favourite colour combo is leopard print and shades of red. This packs a mighty punch and is incredibly feminine when done correctly. Add a pop of red lipstick with a leopard print outfit and you'll be sure to roar!

Leopard print never goes out of style and you'll be able to wear it again and again. All year round. What more can you want? Be sure to invest in some key leopard print items this season.

Here is my favourite leopard print fashion items for the season to give you some inspiration.

1. Pfeiffer dress / 2. Tony Bianco heels / 3. Boohoo one piece / 4. Kardashian Kollection handbag
5. Witchery Crossbody Clutch / 6. Witchery pencil skirt / 7. Nine West espadrilles / 8. Cameo the label dress

Happy shopping ladies!

Accessory of the Week: Cocktail Rings

I have admitted this before, I have two addictions…

Shoes of course being the main one and secondly… Jewellery.

And my favourite piece of jewellery to wear, is cocktail rings.

My humble little Samantha Wills Bardot collection

What I love most about cocktail rings, is how easily they dress up a simple outfit. With a quick add of a cocktail ring, it can change your look dramatically. It can take you from work to play, from simple to elegant and add that much needed sparkle and shine to your weekend wear.

My current favourite is the elegant and stunning silver metal Bardot ring

And my favourite kind of cocktail ring is the Samantha Wills bohemian bardot ring. I bought my first Bardot ring back in 2012 and since then I have slowly added more and more colours to my ever growing collection.

What I love most about them is, there are so many to choose from! Neutrals, brights, pastels and metals are some of the many styles you can choose from.

Every season, new colours are released in the current trending fashion palettes, which makes them the simplest accessory, to bring your outfit on trend.

One of my all time favourites, is my black and gold Bardot ring

The signature tear drop shape, makes them a statement ring and a flattering and feminine style to wear everyday.

My saying is "a Sammy a day, keeps the Doctor away!" Everyday, I wear a Samantha Wills cocktail ring and everyday, it makes me feel confident and ready to take on the world!

My Travel Diary: Rottnest Island

So I decided to give myself some time off from blogging and instead, have a mini vacation (or as I called it, a mini-cation) to refresh myself and relax for the first time in months.

My mini-cation was very mini. Two days to be exact…

But it was a fabulous 2 days, spent with sunshine, sand, salt water, fresh air and my boyfriend. What more could you want?

Well throw in some bicycles, snorkelling equipment and colourful fish… And then it is perfect.

So, my mini-cation took place in Rottnest Island. Just a short 45 minute ferry ride off the coast of my home town, Perth, Western Australia.

Now, I have to admit, I wasn't all that excited for my mini-cation because I've been to Rottnest Island a few times before and even spent my school leavers on the island. But my French boyfriend was so excited to see it, that his excitement took over me!

We cycled around the island, stopping at various, pristine beaches for a dip in the secluded waters. We saw a school of dolphins and even watched sea lions playing in the water.

Not only did I bathe in the 30 degree+ weather (I may have used an entire tub of sunscreen in two days), I finally found some guts and I went snorkelling for the first time. And I have to say, it was the best experience ever. The water was so beautiful and refreshing and it was crystal clear, to make it perfect for swimming and admiring the many wonderful coloured fish.

Although my vacation was short, it was one of the most eventful and exciting vacations that leaves a ridiculous smile on my face, whenever I think about it.

I thought I would share some of my many photos from the island with you, for your viewing pleasure.
